Grow a Row for the Food Bank this summer
Are you planning a garden or operating a farm in the San Luis Valley this summer? Why not share some of your bounty with your hungry neighbors (many of whom are children)?
The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley serves families and individuals struggling to keep enough nutritious food on the table. In 2016 we served over 11,000 individuals in all 6 Valley counties.
In an effort to increase the nutritional quality of the food available to our neighbors in need, we are asking for donations of fresh produce. You can help us keep our shelves stocked with fresh produce by growing a row of food in your garden this summer designated to the Food Bank Network!
Consider planting these vegetables to donate to us this summer:
OR any of your favorite veggies that grow well in the San Luis Valley!
Thank you for your generosity!!!
